Sureify adds quote-to-issue workflow layer to LifetimeACQUIRE platform

Sureify has announced a significant expansion of its LifetimeACQUIRE platform, extending its digital new business capabilities to cover the full arc from product discovery to policy issuance, according to Coverager. The company, a San Jose-based technology platform provider for the life and annuity industry, says the updated product uses a headless architecture, meaning the front-end experience can be configured independently of the underlying systems, allowing carriers and distributors to present a consistent buying interface across whatever digital channels they operate without rebuilding their existing technology stack.
The core problem Sureify is addressing is well understood in the life and annuity distribution channel. Producers selling a life or annuity product typically move across several disconnected systems to assess client needs, find a suitable product, generate a quote or illustration, complete an application, and then track the case through underwriting, suitability, funding and delivery. Each transition between systems creates an opportunity for a not-in-good-order application, a term for submissions that are incomplete or incorrect and must be returned, which slows time-to-issue and risks losing the client's attention. Sureify's stated aim is to reduce those handoffs by connecting existing workflows rather than replacing the underlying platforms.
Coverager reported the announcement alongside a note that Sureify plans to formally unveil the new capabilities at its 2026 Life and Annuity Summit on September 29 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, ahead of the ITC Vegas conference. The company says customers have already seen improved placement rates, though no specific figures were provided in the announcement.
The broader significance here is structural. Life and annuity carriers have historically lagged property and casualty insurers in digital distribution, partly because the products are more complex and the regulatory requirements around suitability and illustration are more demanding. A platform that can wrap around existing illustration engines, application systems and case management tools, rather than requiring a full replacement, lowers the barrier to modernization considerably. That is the market position Sureify is staking out, and it is a credible one given how fragmented the technology stack tends to be at mid-size and regional carriers.
What the Coverager report does not establish is how LifetimeACQUIRE's headless approach compares technically or commercially to competing platforms in the life and annuity new business space, nor which specific carrier or distributor clients have deployed the expanded capabilities. The claim of improved placement rates is attributed to Sureify customers generally, without naming a client or quantifying the improvement. Those details would matter to a carrier evaluating the platform against alternatives.
For distribution and technology professionals in the life and annuity segment, the announcement is worth tracking ahead of ITC Vegas, where vendor positioning tends to sharpen quickly. The question to press at the summit is whether the headless layer genuinely reduces not-in-good-order rates in production environments, and what the integration timeline looks like for a carrier running a legacy illustration system.
